About Garett:

Garett Bjorkman is the Co-Chief Executive Officer, Partner, and Board Member of PEG Companies, bringing over 15 years of experience across real estate, infrastructure, and credit. Since joining PEG in 2024, he has played a pivotal role in institutionalizing the firm’s asset management functions and expanding its suite of institutional and private wealth investment products. Leveraging PEG’s vertically integrated competitive advantages, he has driven strategic growth and enhanced portfolio performance.

As Chairman of PEG’s Investment, Allocation, and Asset Management Committees, Garett leads teams overseeing portfolio management, investments, asset management, development, debt capital markets, investor relations, finance, and key shared services. His leadership ensures PEG’s investment strategies align with market opportunities and long-term value creation.

Prior to PEG, Garett was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at CIM Group, where he spearheaded the launch of the firm’s real estate credit platform, growing assets under management by more than $10 billion between 2015 and 2024. He also played a critical role in establishing a build-to-core real estate equity and infrastructure strategy, adding over $2.5 billion in assets under management between 2019 and 2024. As Portfolio Manager, he was responsible for investment strategy, asset selection, bespoke financing structures, portfolio construction, and asset management. He also collaborated with global institutions, wirehouses, independent RIAs, and broker-dealers to structure investment solutions to access CIM-managed funds and co-investments.

Earlier in his career, Garett held key roles at various real estate private equity firms, focusing on investments and capital markets. He holds a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in Real Estate and International Business from the University of Denver.
