Chip Childs

Russell “Chip” Childs is the president and CEO of SkyWest, Inc. He was named CEO and was nominated to the board of directors in January 2016, and he has served as president since 2014. Chip also serves as Deputy Chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, as the Intermountain Health Desert Region Board Vice Chair, Chair of the Regional Airline Association, and is the Chair of the NextGen Advisory Committee of the Federal Aviation Advisory Council.

Chip earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and master’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University. He and his wife live in St. George and have three sons and a daughter.
